To better serve the more than 400 families and individuals who rely on the Santee Food Bank each month, we have relocated to a larger facility.

The Carlton Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church has agreed to allow us to operate on its property for $1 a year. This will save the Santee Food Bank approximately $6,600 in annual rent. The new space also provides us with greater food storage space and allows us to better serve those who rely on public transportation. Finally, the church currently offers a senior lunch program, so the Santee Food Bank will be a partner in this ongoing public service.

The move, however, was not without one-time costs. Portable structures, utility fees and some construction costs are among the expenses the Santee Food Bank is incurring.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Santee Food Bank depends on the generosity of our community. Help us keep the doors open at our new facility by making a tax-deductible monetary donation today. Together we can achieve the goal of alleviating food insecurities within the City of Santee.
